Role:

As a Dynamics 365 Application Specialist, you bring structure to complex ERP landscapes and turn business requirements into viable system solutions. Your central tool is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), which you understand deeply on a functional level. Instead of just configuring, you question processes and show where the standard suffices and where custom development makes sense. From the first workshop to stable operation, you accompany your solutions throughout the entire lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• In exchange with the business departments, you gather requirements, model processes, and decide between standard, configuration, and custom development.

• You set up D365 F&O functionally and parameterise modules, workflows, as well as role and permission structures.

• Furthermore, you design integrations with third-party applications and Microsoft Cloud Services and support the adoption of master and transactional data.

• For releases and changes, you plan regression and integration tests and accompany the commissioning until successful go-live.

• In addition, you are responsible for 2nd- and 3rd-level support and coordinate troubleshooting with development and key users.

• You also drive the optimisation of ERP processes and train key users in new functions.

Qualifications:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in ERP consulting, application consulting, or business application management.

• Solid knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O or a comparable ERP system allows you to independently map requirements in the system, ideally with a focus on finance, purchasing, sales, or supply chain.

• Writing functional designs and specifications comes as easily to you as analysing business processes.

• You are familiar with interfaces, data flows, and data migration and have already accompanied test phases and ERP go-lives.

• Experience with the Microsoft Cloud, such as Power Automate, Dataverse, or Azure, rounds off your profile, as does a good understanding of permission concepts and compliance.

• Moreover, you approach error patterns analytically, enjoy working in a networked way, and communicate fluently in German and confidently in English.
