Cloud Native Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Stable platform operation arises from proactive action, not reaction. That is exactly how you work. You operate OpenShift and Kubernetes environments and develop them technically further. You proactively address performance issues before they become noticeable. In case of disruptions, you seek the cause rather than just fixing the symptom. In an agile environment, you work closely with the team and the product owner.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the operation, lifecycle and further development of container platforms on-premises as well as in the cloud
You optimise existing environments and carry out proactive performance tuning
You handle disruptions in incident and problem management and find sustainable solutions
You plan and implement changes according to defined change management processes
You complete tickets purposefully according to prioritisation by the product owner
Additionally, you participate in agile ceremonies such as sprints and cross-team planning
Qualifications:
You have solid practical experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes in on-premises environments
You are familiar with middleware and application server technologies
You are confident with Linux systems and automate with Ansible
You have basic knowledge of networking, security, storage and operating systems
You have worked with monitoring and service management tools and know agile methods as well as ITIL
You work reliably and independently in a team and communicate very well in German and English
