Your Tasks
- You teach and support children and adolescents hospitalised as inpatients during their approximately three-month stay in the Psychosomatic-Psychiatric Therapy Unit according to the hospital school’s mission statement and the individual needs of the pupils.
- You are the key teacher and work closely with the relatives of the children and adolescents, their home schools, as well as the interprofessional treatment team (medicine, psychology, nursing, therapies).
- As part of a small school team, you support and represent your colleagues professionally and during absences and actively contribute to the further development of the hospital school.
Your Profile
- EDK recognised teaching diploma (all levels)
- Relevant teaching experience at secondary level and/or in cross-level settings
- Knowledge of the special education sector is an advantage, ideally combined with a qualification in school-based special education
- Professional and personal flexibility in organising the work and school day
