Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for

Midwife M/F

To hold a HES-SO Bachelor degree in midwifery or an equivalent qualification recognised by the CRS.
To have at least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting; experience in a university centre is an advantage.
To possess solid technical expertise allowing autonomous care of parturients.
To demonstrate rigour, versatility and adaptability.
To be able to manage stressful situations calmly and effectively.
To have a good team spirit and appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration.

To ensure support and care during deliveries in the delivery room, respecting protocols and the needs of each patient.
To intervene during caesarean sections in the operating theatre, actively participating in the care of the mother and child.
To perform clinical assessment of the newborn immediately after birth and intervene in neonatal resuscitation when required.
To ensure follow-up of the mother and newborn during the postnatal period, monitoring them and responding to their needs.
To coordinate the various actors in the care and medico-social network to best prepare for the return home and ensure continuity of family support.
To conduct prenatal consultations and monitor pregnancies reaching term, especially from the 37th week.
To actively participate in the promotion and support of breastfeeding, informing, advising and supporting young mothers.
