Your Tasks
- Leading a medical/psychological team and overall supervision of the treatment of inpatients with mental illnesses, including diagnostics, therapy, and discharge planning
- Application of targeted treatment concepts within the focus area of Affective Disorders using cognitive-behavioural and systemic approaches
- Supervision of treatment by and mentoring of assistant physicians and psychologists
- Participation in teaching and further training of assistant physicians and psychologists
- Further development of the ward's treatment concept, in collaboration with the multiprofessional team and nursing staff, and in coordination with other units in the Affective Disorders track and with regard to "Difficult to treat depression"
- Involvement in research and teaching with study recruitment and student instruction
- Participation in treatments of interventional psychiatry with ECT, rTMS, and (es)-ketamine treatments
Your Profile
- Possession of a Swiss medical diploma (registered with MEBEKO) or MEBEKO recognition of a foreign medical diploma (not registration) plus MEBEKO language entry German
- Specialist qualification in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy completed or near completion
- Leadership experience with high autonomy and self-organisation
- Experience in the field of Affective Disorders
- Interest in innovative treatment concepts including interventional psychiatry (e.g. repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation [rTMS], electroconvulsive therapy [ECT], diagnostics using electroencephalogram [EEG])
- German language skills in spoken and written form at level C2
