MES Application Manager (m/f/d)
The ROCKEN partner is the Swiss market leader in kitchen furniture production and manufactures up to 100 kitchens per day with great passion and the most modern technologies. Role:
An experienced individual is sought for a manufacturing company who will take responsibility for the stable operation and continuous development of a modern manufacturing execution environment. The focus is on application management, data structures, interfaces, and the digitalisation of production processes.
The position forms an important interface between production, business, IT, and external partners. Requirements are analysed, technical solutions developed, and changes accompanied from planning to successful implementation.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the stable and secure operation of the MES including connected interfaces
Further development and optimisation of the MES application as well as the underlying data structures
Recording, analysing, and documenting requirements from production and specialist departments
Coordination between production, ICT, software partners, and external service providers
Planning and accompanying changes, releases, tests, and approvals
Supporting key users and ensuring 2nd and 3rd level support
Qualifications:
Education or degree in business informatics, process engineering, wood technology, or a comparable field
Professional experience in application management, ideally in a production or MES environment
Good understanding of production processes, IT systems, interfaces, and data flows
Experience in analysing requirements and optimising operational processes
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Communicative and team-oriented personality with a high quality awareness and good German skills
