About the job
Traineeship «Digital Built Environment» (m/f/d)
Become part of the Vice Presidency for Infrastructure (VPIN) and help us shape the Digital Twin of ETH Zurich.
In the Infrastructure division of ETH Zurich, we actively shape change. With our programme Digital Twin – building bridges to the future – we create the foundations for a data-driven, sustainable and future-proof campus.
For this transformation, we are looking for curious young talents with a strong interest in digitalisation, data and models in the built environment.
Our traineeship programme offers you the opportunity to get to know the entire value chain of our infrastructure organisation and at the same time actively contribute to the development of the Digital Twin of ETH Zurich.
Project Background
The Traineeship Programme
During the 18-month traineeship, you will be part of the Digital Twin programme within the Engineering & Systems department of ETH Zurich. You will work on innovative digitalisation projects and gain insights into various areas along the lifecycle of buildings and infrastructure.
Together with experts from portfolio development and construction project management, building automation and building technology, as well as facility services and maintenance, you will develop model- and data-based solutions for the planning, construction and operation of our infrastructure portfolio. You will actively participate in the implementation of new use cases, further develop data-based solutions prototypically, and contribute to technical concepts as well as technology and architecture decisions.
Our goal is to specifically develop you into a specialist at the interface of construction, infrastructure, data and digitalisation and to jointly build a long-term perspective within VPIN.
