Identities and permissions are the backbone of every secure IT landscape. As an Identity Management Engineer in the Basel region, you ensure the stable and secure operation of an Identity & Access Management (IAM) environment including associated applications. You operate within the Microsoft Entra environment, manage role and permission management, and advance automation. Expect an environment where security, compliance, and thorough documentation matter.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the reliable operation of the IAM environment and connected applications.
You analyse requests, incidents, and issues in the IAM and IGA environment and find sustainable solutions.
Furthermore, you manage and optimise role-based access control (RBAC) and the identity provider landscape.
You support authentication and authorisation topics from conception to operation.
Additionally, you contribute to security and compliance requirements and support internal and external audits.
You also bring ideas for automation and implement improvements together with the team.
Qualifications:
You have several years of practical experience in the IAM or IGA environment, ideally with a common identity governance solution.
You are confident in the Microsoft Entra environment and familiar with identity provider technologies.
Active Directory and Exchange are part of your toolkit.
Furthermore, you have knowledge of regulatory requirements, audits, and IT security.
You quickly grasp complex contexts, work in a structured manner, and document carefully.
Additionally, you convince through an independent, customer-oriented working style, team spirit, and confident German language skills.
