When a customer takes delivery of a brand-new construction machine of considerable value, there is exactly one moment that counts: the first glance. If you take pride in giving this yellow giant the very final touch so that the cabin shines, the lettering is positioned to the millimetre, and the customer is left amazed, then you are exactly right at Avesco AG! For this important VIP finishing job, we are looking for reinforcement at the main site in Langenthal. Our motto is: "Geit nid gits nid" - with passion for the perfect first impression.
Employee: Machine Preparation for Construction Equipment
(30%)
Your mission
- You are the quality guarantor before the key handover: You bring brand-new and serviced construction machines to a high gloss visually
- You thoroughly clean the driver cabins, care for the surfaces, and apply customer stickers and lettering precisely and bubble-free
- You take a close look at the machines again before delivery, check the appearance, and consistently apply your eye for detail
- Thanks to short decision-making paths, you work independently, responsibly maintain your area, and use your resources and cleaning agents sustainably and safely
- You work closely with the workshop, share your experiences, contribute your own ideas, and are proud of the joint end result
Your background
- You have a strong sense for order, cleanliness, and quality - no speck of dust or misaligned sticker escapes you
- You enjoy working with extremely high-quality machines and feel the pride when a machine is perfectly prepared and rolls onto the low-loader
- You work carefully, reliably, and with a good dose of personal responsibility
- You treat your team colleagues with respect and on an equal footing and listen carefully to instructions
- You are flexible with your time to ideally cover the 30% workload (1.5 days per week)
Our values - your advantage at Avesco
- A responsible part-time role (1.5 days/week) where your effort is directly visible and delights the customers
- The chance to regularly work with the absolute top class of the construction machinery industry (Caterpillar)
- A cheerful, collegial workshop team that appreciates your work, shares experiences, and celebrates successes together
- Real values and a doer culture: flat hierarchies, exemplary leadership on an equal footing, and modern work tools
- A fair employment package with good social benefits (pro rata 13th month salary) and the security of a traditional Swiss family company
