Responsibilities:
Definition and further development of category strategies for electronic components.
Analysis of global procurement markets and identification of suitable sources.
Management of cross-site purchasing and cost optimisation projects.
Conducting price negotiations and drafting long-term supply agreements.
Review of technical alternatives and coordination of component approvals.
Monitoring procurement risks and ensuring material supply.
Coordination with development, production, and quality management regarding product changes.
Assessment of in-house production versus external sourcing and implementation of corresponding measures.
Qualifications:
Technical or commercial basic training, supplemented by further education in purchasing.
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing of electronics or industrial production materials.
Sound knowledge in supplier development and procurement planning.
Experience with international purchasing structures and cross-site decision-making processes.
Strong negotiation skills and confident demeanor with external business partners.
Technical understanding and business knowledge to assess procurement alternatives.
Independent working style, team orientation, and willingness to travel internationally.
Very good German and English skills as well as proficient use of MS Office.
