Certified Psychiatric Nurse Forensics

The Psychiatric Services Thurgau offer integrated psychiatric care for all age groups and all disorder types in the canton. You will work on the Forensics Ward 1, where mainly patients under Article 59 of the Swiss Criminal Code (StGB), and where indicated also under Article 60 StGB, are accommodated. The ward provides a supportive and activating daily structure and aims for a constructive, non-violent, and respectful interaction with one another.

from December 2026 or by arrangement.

You will take on

• Professional care of our patients as a key contact person in the nursing process from admission to discharge within an interdisciplinary team
• Participation in decisions relevant to measures such as relaxations and leave regulations
• Planning and implementation of milieu-therapeutic activities
• Coordination of processes and tasks with preceding and subsequent care institutions/persons

You bring with you

• Completed training as a nurse HF/FH with a focus on psychiatry, professional experience is an advantage
• Commitment to personal further education or training to maintain up-to-date knowledge
• Flexibility, independence, resilience, and ability to work in a team
