For our unique Papa Joe’s Bern – American Restaurant & Caribbean Bar, we are looking for a new face at the top. Papa Joe’s is a genuine experience restaurant, known far beyond the city limits for juicy burgers, delicious spare ribs and sizzling fajitas.
Your role with us
As Managing Director, you take over the operational management of our legendary establishment in Bern and are the pivotal point for success:
• Warm host role: You live passionate hospitality, are present at the front and ensure with your communicative manner that guests and your team feel equally comfortable.
• Operational excellence: You independently manage the daily business and successfully implement the Papa Joe’s concept.
• Inspiring leadership: You lead, motivate and coach your team on an equal footing and promote a positive working atmosphere characterised by team spirit.
• Entrepreneurial thinking: In cooperation with your superior, you develop the operating budget and bear full responsibility for its achievement.
What you bring
• The foundation: A vocational training in gastronomy or an equivalent qualification forms the basis of your success.
• The experience: You have already gained professional and leadership experience in a comparable position.
• The mindset: You see yourself as a modern leader, are highly organised, love the lively US & Caribbean concept and are passionate about the role of host.
• The language: You communicate confidently in German (spoken and written). Other languages are a welcome plus in our international guest field.
