What you achieve
- As a Data Engineer, you develop and operate data products that provide direct added value to our specialist departments.
- You design and implement scalable data pipelines, ensuring reliable data flows.
- You are responsible for the quality and transparency of the data and support compliance with our data governance.
- In close collaboration with specialist departments, product owners and DevOps teams, you actively shape our data mesh landscape and data platform.
What you bring
- You bring experience in data engineering and modern data architectures.
- You complement your solid SQL skills with practical experience in Python.
- You have already worked with dbt (data build tool), Apache Airflow or comparable technologies.
- Container and cloud platforms such as OpenShift as well as automated CI/CD processes are familiar to you from practice.
- You understand the principles of data mesh, data products and data governance and ideally bring knowledge of the insurance software Syrius.
