Our client is an internationally active industrial company with a production site in the Bern region. The company produces high-quality products for demanding and partly regulated markets and places great value on quality, product safety and reliable processes. You can expect a versatile environment with short decision-making paths and plenty of scope for design. We are currently looking for a Quality Manager. This position offers you the opportunity to significantly shape quality and hygiene at the site level while also developing an experienced team professionally and personally.
Your tasks with the new employer:
- Overall responsibility for the areas of quality assurance, quality control and hygiene as well as leading a team of five employees
- Ensuring and further developing internal quality standards, regulatory requirements and applicable hygiene standards
- Managing quality indicators, reporting and management reviews as well as following up on defined measures
- Leading improvement initiatives and further developing continuous improvement processes (CIP), change management and CAPA processes
- Responsibility for HACCP risk management at the site
- Planning, coordinating and accompanying internal, external and customer audits
- Analysing non-conformities and complaints as well as initiating and monitoring the effectiveness of sustainable corrective actions
- Supporting qualification and validation activities in close cooperation with internal departments
You offer your new employer:
- Several years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing industrial company
- Technical basic training with further education in quality management; an advanced degree is an advantage
- Leadership experience and enjoyment in promoting, motivating and developing employees
- Strong quality awareness and high standards for the consistent implementation of defined standards
- Experience in analysing, optimising and sustainably anchoring processes
- Analytical, structured and independent working style
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
