The International School of Lausanne (ISL) is a leading not-for-profit, International Baccalaureate (IB) World School set in the French speaking part of Switzerland. The school employs approximately 250 members of staff on its campus where we welcome approximately 850 students from over 60 nationalities, from 3 to 18 years of age.

For our After-School Activities Programme (Primary school), we are seeking to appoint dynamic and committed

Temporary position from December 2025 to June 2026

The successful candidates would be committing to plan and deliver French language acquisition classes to small groups of non-native speakers as well as provide a termly written report. The one-hour lessons will typically run on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 15:45 to 16:45.

Desired profile

Experience tutoring or working with children aged 5–11 and the ability to engage and support young learners

French native speaker

Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate classes which stimulate and motivate students

Strong interpersonal skills and intercultural awareness

Adaptability, flexibility, dynamism and a sense of humour

Commitment to self-reflection and professional development

Good verbal communication skills in English with very good listening skills; any other language is an asset
