Apprentice Training Manager M/F

The position of Apprentice Training Manager aims to oversee the entire apprenticeship process and the development of the technical skills of young trainees within the company. Reporting to the Finance / Human Resources Director and working closely with the heads of production sectors, the post holder plays a key role in the transfer of know-how and maintaining technical excellence.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervision and monitoring of apprentices:

  • Organise, supervise and ensure the smooth running of the technical training of apprentices Production Mechanic CFC and Polymechanic CFC.
  • Motivate, lead and support apprentices and trainees under their responsibility.
  • Support theoretical and school-based training through personalised and adapted guidance.
  • Prepare and support apprentices during intermediate and final examinations.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process of future apprentices (internship management, tests, etc.).

• Technical and production activities:

  • Produce various parts for all company departments.
  • Provide technical support for machining.
  • Identify, define and acquire the necessary tooling for activities.
  • Ensure monitoring, maintenance and proper functioning of the machine park and installations.

• Improvement and image:

  • Constantly monitor developments in the field of vocational training.
  • Actively participate in maintenance and process improvement.
  • Enhance and positively contribute to the company’s brand image.

Skills

• Technical skills:

  • Very good mastery of CNC machining.
  • Mastery of mechanical manufacturing processes and tooling management.
  • Mastery and application of current training regulations.

• Educational and managerial skills:

  • Ability to supervise, coach and transfer knowledge.
  • Aptitude to conduct evaluations, selection tests and prepare for examinations.
    
    

Profile

• Education:

  • Holder of a CFC in mechanics.
  • Completed by a mandatory in-company trainer training.

• Experience: Equivalent and successful professional experience in a similar position.

• Personal qualities:

  • Educator, with natural authority in personnel management.
  • Developed interpersonal skills, good listening and analytical mind.
