Exciting tasks await:
- Road construction specialist: You carry out construction and surfacing work on the cantonal roads precisely, thus contributing to smooth infrastructure
- Ready for winter service: During winter service, you assist according to the on-call schedule and ensure that roads remain safe and passable
- Creating and maintaining green oases: You take care of the professional maintenance and pruning of trees, shrubs and green areas so that everything blooms in full splendour
- Safety first: By correctly signalling construction sites, you ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely
What you bring:
- Completed vocational training as a maintenance specialist, road builder, bricklayer, gardener, forest ranger or comparable
- Category B driving licence mandatory
- High personal responsibility with a flair for craft work
- A car and residence in the region (maximum 30 minutes) are required for winter and on-call service
- Ideally a C1 driving licence, or willingness to obtain one

In the Department of Construction, Transport and Environment, we actively develop the diverse living space of Aargau in the areas of spatial planning, energy, environment and mobility – today and for future generations.
From green maintenance to winter service, from redesigning local bypasses to innovative traffic management and planning new, safe and environmentally friendly traffic facilities – in the Civil Engineering Division we ensure the construction, maintenance and operation of the over 1,150 km long cantonal road network as well as the expansion of the more than 950 km long cycle route network.
