Responsibilities:
Procurement of production materials and commercial goods according to internal requirements
Monitoring stock levels and managing material availability
Evaluation of demand forecasts and derivation of corresponding order quantities
Management of supplier agreements and maintenance of existing framework conditions
Coordination of external manufacturing services and corresponding order processing
Checking and posting incoming creditor invoices
Coordination with production, warehouse and internal departments
Support in training apprentices in the commercial purchasing environment
Qualifications:
Completed technical, commercial or logistics apprenticeship
Professional further training in purchasing or as a technical buyer
Several years of experience in material planning in a production or trading company
Good knowledge of operational procurement and order processing
Experience with warehouse metrics and inventory planning
Confident use of MS Office and common ERP applications
Independent working style, analytical understanding and reliable communication
Fluent German and good English skills.
