In claims transformation, we are realising an ambitious endeavour. The core of this next stage is the use of Agentic AI – AI agents that independently manage a claim from notification through coverage verification to payment[RT2.1], regulate it, and collaborate with humans within clearly defined guardrails. We are not looking for a traditional project manager who simply executes an IT rollout according to plan. We seek a personality who understands how new technologies are introduced and implemented, drives the redesign and adaptation of processes accordingly, and achieves measurable business benefits.

What you will achieve

• You will lead the project as co-lead for the introduction of Agentic AI in claims processing – implementation in iterative expansion steps.
• You will be responsible for the automation roadmap in the claims environment and significantly drive the expansion of end-to-end dark processing in mass claims.
• You will work closely with claims specialists, IT architecture, and technology partners to integrate AI agents with clear decision boundaries into redesigned processes.
• You will ensure that humans and agents collaborate meaningfully in the claims process (human-in-the-loop) and that compliance and quality requirements are always met.
• You will prepare decision templates and represent the project in the claims transformation steering committee as well as to senior management.
• You will accompany the cultural change in the claims team – from traditional case handling to modern claims settlement in collaboration with AI agents.

What you bring

• Several years of experience in leading complex digitalisation and/or IT projects with a transformational character, ideally in the claims or insurance environment.
• Excellent knowledge of classical and agile methodologies.
• Daily use of AI and fundamental working knowledge of AI support.
• Profound understanding of Agentic AI architectures (orchestrator/sub-agent models, LLMs, APIs) and their use in operational processes.
• A strong sense of governance, risk, and compliance when using AI in a regulated environment, as well as a clear understanding of responsible AI principles (transparency, traceability, fairness).
• Strong communication skills to clearly prepare technically complex matters for the business unit, IT, and senior management.
• A winning and convincing personality.
• Fluent German skills, good English skills.
