Role:

Business-critical applications are only as good as the data flowing between them. This is exactly where you come in as an IT Application Manager. You ensure that personalisation and production software work reliably together and that updates go live without surprises. In tricky disruptions, you keep an overview and find the actual cause. This way, you develop the application landscape step by step.

Responsibilities:

• You are responsible for the operation and lifecycle management of the business applications assigned to you, keeping them secure and performant.

• In complex incidents, you conduct root cause analyses and coordinate with software vendors and internal specialists.

• You monitor interfaces to surrounding systems and ensure the correct transmission of data in JSON, CSV, or XML.

• Furthermore, you plan updates and releases including system and regression tests and accompany their deployment.

• You manage user roles and access rights, configure workflows and templates, and translate business requirements into system adjustments.

• Additionally, you contribute optimisation ideas to projects, take on technical sub-projects, and document systems comprehensibly.

Qualifications:

• You bring several years of experience in the technical operation of business applications, application management, or application engineering.

• You have studied computer science or business informatics or completed a comparable technical education.

• You are proficient in interface management and system integration, and knowledge of REST interfaces (REST APIs) or web services is a plus.

• You are familiar with incident, change, and release processes from practice and are acquainted with authorisation concepts.

• Moreover, knowledge of SQL, logging, and monitoring helps you independently narrow down errors across data and application levels. Experience with automation or configuration software rounds off your profile.

• Furthermore, you think in networks, tackle problems persistently, and communicate fluently in German, while English poses no obstacle for manufacturer discussions.
