Physician Associate ZHGT (a)

This is what the professional everyday life looks like

• Taking over medical tasks in the care of inpatient and outpatient patients of the Heart, Vascular & Thorax Centre
• Ensuring continuous, efficient and needs-based patient care at the interface between emergency departments, specialists and general practitioners
• Coordination of the interprofessional treatment process
• On behalf of and in consultation with the treating physician, you take on the following tasks: admission and discharge of patients, conducting conversations, including with relatives, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic measures, conducting ward rounds, preparing progress and discharge reports as well as documentation and coordination tasks

Competences and potential

• Diploma as a nursing specialist HF/FH
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a somatic acute hospital (preferably in a Swiss hospital)
• Ideally further training as a Physician Associate at CAS or MAS level or willingness to complete this
• Confident handling of new media
• Team-oriented, resilient and communicative personality
• Motivation to shape new paths and take on responsibility
