Butcher / Team Leader

What you accomplish

• Supervise, support and train a team of 10 colleagues
• Carry out the cutting and preparation of meats according to defined standards
• Ensure product quality as well as compliance with hygiene and food safety standards
• Organise and coordinate the production table activity to meet quality, deadline and yield objectives
• Manage stocks of raw materials, packaging and consumables in your area
• Anticipate needs and ensure the necessary computerised orders for smooth production
• Actively participate in continuous improvement

What you bring

• Education: Completed professional apprenticeship (CFC)
• Specialisation: Butcher-charcutier CFC or equivalent training
• Professional experience: Minimum 5 years confirmed experience in meat cutting and processing
• You combine butcher expertise with leadership qualities
• You know how to motivate a team or want to develop your management skills
• Autonomy, organisation and initiative are among your strengths. You also have a strong team spirit and are passionate about the meat sector
• You enjoy stock management and work with rigour
• Dynamic and stress-resistant, you can keep focused even in intense moments
• You have good knowledge of cuts and cutting techniques as well as HACCP and food safety standards
• Previous experience in a semi-industrial food environment is an advantage
• French (A2)
