Your area of responsibility

• As an integrative personality, you are a member of the medical management team of the Women’s Clinic of LUKS at the Sursee site with a broad spectrum of general gynaecology, a maternity ward with around 1,000 births per year, an obstetric and gynaecological outpatient clinic as well as gynaecological and obstetric emergencies.
• The Sursee site is part of the cross-location Women’s Clinic LUKS Lucerne-Sursee under a joint overall management in Lucerne.
• In addition to basic and standard care, various specialised consultations (endometriosis and urogynaecology) are offered in Sursee. The certified breast centre of LUKS covers the Lucerne and Sursee sites on an outpatient and inpatient basis.
• A special focus of the Women’s Clinic Sursee lies in the treatment of endometriosis (both conservative and operative).
• Within the existing interdisciplinary network within the LUKS Group as well as with our attending physicians and partner organisations in the Sursee catchment area, you maintain a partnership-based contact.
• The training and further education of assistant and senior physicians is very important to you. The Gynaecology and Obstetrics Sursee is a recognised training centre (B) for the specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics.
