Certified Nursing Specialist (HF/FH) for the Emergency Department

Our emergency department treats & cares for around 26,000 patients per year and is constantly evolving. In addition to planned structural improvements, we want to improve our triage and patient admission process in the near future with new colleagues. At the same time, the team should be strengthened during shifts.

You will take on

• You will take on the initial treatment and care of emergency patients of all triage categories and specialties in an interdisciplinary treatment team
• You are responsible for the care of the patients assigned to you during their stay in the emergency department
• You work closely with all areas of the emergency department (plaster room, Fast Track and emergency practice) and support them in the primary care of patients
• Taking on administrative and organisational tasks rounds off your area of responsibility
• You will later support our education coordinators in supervising HF trainees, FH students, health care assistants (FaGe), paramedic interns, and nursing interns

You bring with you

• You have training as a Certified Nursing Specialist (HF/FH) with several years of solid experience in the acute sector and want to develop professionally and personally
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in an emergency department
• You are ready for a new challenge and want to complete the postgraduate studies in emergency nursing. We work closely with the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen as our education provider
• Alongside practical "on the job" training, you will also be prepared for the theoretical part of the postgraduate studies by our education experts
• You feel comfortable in a very lively and constantly evolving environment and like to take responsibility
• You are able to keep an overview and set priorities correctly even in complex situations
• Enjoy your profession and are eager for something new at the beautiful Lake Constance :-)
