True to the vision "We drive innovation to improve people’s lives," the Hamilton companies have been delivering solutions for the healthcare sector since 1950. We are an innovative pioneer when it comes to ventilators, automated pipetting and storage of samples, as well as the development of process sensors.
The Business Unit Process Analytics develops, produces and markets state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in biopharma, chemistry and breweries. Our product portfolio includes sensors for critical process parameters such as pH value, oxygen, or sensors for measuring cell density, which are enormously important in biological processes and unique worldwide with their innovative technology.
This is what you can achieve:
- Further development, adaptation and optimisation of the software of our production systems, especially assembly and testing systems
- Programming in C# to implement new functions, automation logics and process improvements
- Analysis, identification and correction of software errors in the production environment
- Active participation in the design of completely new production systems – from the initial idea through prototypes to series maturity
- Ideally support in the hardware development of our systems (mechanics, electronics, sensor technology)
- Maintenance and optimisation of existing mechatronic systems as well as participation in conversions and upgrades
- Execution of tests, validations and functional checks of new software modules
- Close cooperation with special machine construction, process engineering, production and maintenance
- Participation or project management in interdisciplinary projects for the modernisation and automation of our manufacturing processes
This is what you bring with you:
- Degree or technical training in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or comparable
- Very good knowledge of C# and object-oriented software development
- Technically multidisciplinary, with enthusiasm for both software and hardware topics
- Interest or experience in dealing with assembly and testing systems as well as automation technology
- Practical experience in mechatronics (e.g. mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, sensor technology) is an advantage
- Independent, structured, solution-oriented and practical working style
- Analytical thinking and a strong willingness to solve problems hands-on directly at the system
