Commissioning Technician Plant Construction (m/f/d)
Role:
As a service technician, you ensure that technically demanding cleaning systems are reliably installed, commissioned, and operated at a consistently high performance level at the customer’s site. You accompany the systems from assembly and qualification through maintenance and repair to calibrations and customer-specific adjustments and are also available to provide remote support for technical questions. With your strong technical affinity and solution-oriented approach, you contribute significantly to smooth system operation and professional customer support both domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities:
Professional installation and assembly of cleaning systems at the customer’s site
Execution of commissioning and ensuring technical readiness for operation
Support and execution of system qualifications according to respective requirements
Instruction and training of system operators in the safe and correct handling of the systems
Carrying out maintenance, repair, and servicing work
Performing calibrations and checking relevant system functions
Systematic analysis and resolution of technical faults and malfunctions
Supporting customers with technical problems via telephone and remote access
Implementation of customer-specific upgrades, adjustments, and technical enhancements
Technical optimisation of existing systems to improve performance, functionality, and process reliability
Support and execution of factory acceptance tests in collaboration with customers and project management
Documentation of completed work and communication of relevant technical information
Close cooperation with project management, customers, and internal specialist departments
Carrying out service assignments with a travel share of around 80% in Switzerland and 20% abroad
Qualifications:
Completed technical training as a mechatronics technician or automation technician
Good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, electrical engineering, and control technology is an advantage
Enjoyment of complex technical systems and a pronounced technical affinity
Ability to quickly grasp technical contexts and develop systematic solutions
High willingness to learn and interest in independently familiarising yourself with new technologies and specialist areas
Independent, reliable, and customer-oriented working style
Confident and professional appearance with customers on site
Proficient use of MS Office
Willingness to undertake regular business travel domestically and abroad
Good English skills for technical communication
Fluent French skills
Fluent German skills
