The Vernand Foundation supports the daily development of more than 600 children and adults with intellectual disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
We are a non-profit organisation, recognised as being of public utility and founded in 1972.
To contribute to our inclusive goals and ensure the well-being, health, and quality of life of children, we are looking for our inclusive specialised pedagogy class for children with mild to moderate autism spectrum disorder,
A Teacher (M/F) - Permanent Contract at 42%
We offer you:
- responsibility for a class of 5 to 6 pupils allowing for individualised support
- an activity within a multidisciplinary team
- participation in institutional projects, notably those related to inclusive schooling
- a working environment adapted to the specific needs of the pupils
- opportunities for training and professional development
- a status according to the Social Collective Labour Agreement.
We ask of you:
- a Master’s degree in teaching
- proven experience in the field of autism
- an interest in inclusive schooling
- an ability and motivation to work in a multidisciplinary team and in partnership with families
- mastery of the Romand Curriculum Plan - PER
- use of common computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
