In this role, as a Senior Banking Systems Integration Engineer, you design innovative integration solutions that enable modern banking experiences on a scalable basis. You design, develop, and operate services on the Avaloq Container Platform Reference (ACPR/Openshift) and implement robust integrations via the Avaloq Business Event Grid as well as bi-directional, real-time streaming with Kafka. You analyse and solve complex integration issues across various channels and, together with infrastructure and release management, ensure the quality of your solutions from conception to go-live. Additionally, you support test campaigns and rollouts and bring your extensive experience in system integration, Avaloq, and relevant technologies such as Openshift, OpenAPI, Apache Kafka, and .NET. With your analytical thinking, ability to prioritise, and independent, pragmatic working style, you shape the success of demanding integration projects.
Responsibilities:
You design, develop, and operate scalable services on the Avaloq Container Platform (ACPR/OpenShift)
Using the Avaloq Business Event Grid (BEG), you develop robust integration solutions and use Kafka for bi-directional real-time messaging
You analyse and resolve complex integration problems across channels and, together with infrastructure and release teams, ensure the quality from design to deployment
You actively participate in tests and rollouts and contribute your technical expertise to strategic integration projects
Qualifications:
Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in system integration in banking
Solid Avaloq knowledge, CIP, OpenShift, OpenAPI, Kafka, and .NET are advantageous
You work analytically, independently, and solution-oriented and bring a pronounced hands-on mentality
Fluent written and spoken German and fluent English
