Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

Tasks you will enjoy

• Development and further development of product group strategies for operating resources, catering equipment, and promotional items
• Analysis of procurement markets, suppliers, costs, risks, and innovation potentials
• Identification and implementation of standardisation, bundling, and saving potentials as well as optimisation of procurement processes
• Planning and execution of tenders and RFQ/RFP processes including offer, cost, and TCO analyses
• Preparation and conduct of negotiations on prices, conditions, service levels, and contract terms
• Creation of transparent award recommendations and well-founded decision bases
  Advising specialist departments and translating their requirements into suitable procurement and supplier strategies

Requirements you bring

• Completed degree or comparable commercial training with a focus on purchasing or supply chain management
• At least three years of experience in strategic purchasing, category management, or sourcing
• Experience with indirect product groups as well as product group strategies, tendering, and awarding processes
• Analytical strength and confident handling of cost, market, and supplier data
• Negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and strong stakeholder management
• Good digital procurement, MS Office, and especially Excel skills
• Experience in international retail, food service, or multi-site environments is an advantage
• Very good German skills, English and French are advantageous, as well as willingness to travel within the DACH region
