About the job
The Bern Historical Museum is one of the most important cultural history museums in Switzerland. It is a growing repository of knowledge and experience for the culture and history of Bern and the world. The collections on history, archaeology, and ethnography comprise around 567,000 objects. They offer insights into living environments from different historical periods and cultural contexts.
In a partnership with the Swiss National Bank, the Bern Historical Museum has designed and realised the Moneyverse . Opened on 10 April 2026 and located in the heart of the city of Bern, the Moneyverse revolves around one of humanity’s most significant inventions: money.

Your main tasks
- Conducting thematic introductions, interactive tours, and other mediation formats for groups and schools
- Promoting dialogue and engagement with exhibition topics
- Welcoming, informing, and advising visitors
- Supporting the operation of the Moneyverse and events
- Co-responsibility for safety, technology, and exhibition rooms
