In this role, you plan and implement innovative, reliable IT system landscapes that are flexible and cost-efficiently designed for different customer scenarios. You are responsible for the holistic management of modern IT environments - from on-premise infrastructures to cloud solutions and hybrid architectures. You design and operate powerful IT services that keep even demanding infrastructures stable, secure and scalable. In addition, you ensure smooth operation with well-thought-out logistics and service offerings and proactively identify optimisation potentials. Through your contribution, you shape future-oriented IT landscapes that meet the high demands of modern companies.
Responsibilities:
You manage existing customer environments and continuously develop their IT infrastructure.
You design, install and administer Windows servers and clients as well as Microsoft 365 and cloud services.
You manage virtual workplace environments and ensure secure and performant access to applications and desktops.
You carry out maintenance, updates and lifecycle tasks and ensure stable system operation.
You support complex technical faults and take on demanding tasks in 3rd-level support.
You contribute your expertise to infrastructure, cloud, security and modern workplace projects.
You automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and improve monitoring, documentation and operational processes.
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in system engineering or a comparable infrastructure role.
Sound knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Client and Microsoft 365.
Experience with virtualisation and digital workplace solutions as well as ideally with Azure and Entra ID.
Knowledge of network, firewall and endpoint security is an advantage.
Experience with PowerShell, monitoring or automation is welcome.
Analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as enjoyment in sustainably solving complex problems.
Independent, well-organised personality with strong customer orientation and very good German and English skills.
