SAP IT Application Engineer - Opentext
Your mission
Reporting to the Cross-Expertise Division, within the Solutions Unit, you will join a team of application engineers as an IT Application Engineer. You will contribute to the development, integration and evolution of the company’s digital solutions, mainly around SAP CX and OpenText, as well as ensuring their proper functioning in the cloud.
Your main responsibilities
- Participate in the development, maintenance and evolution of interfaces between solutions in the SAP ecosystem (SAP CX, OpenText),
- contribute to the integration and data exchanges between applications via REST/SOAP APIs, web services and batch processing,
- participate in the management of customer data (profile, preferences, consents) in SAP CX and in the functional and technical administration of OpenText solutions,
- carry out developments, configurations, corrections as well as unit tests, integration tests and technical validations,
- participate in deployments, production releases and supervision of application environments,
- analyse and contribute to the resolution of application incidents,
- document developments, technical procedures and operating methods,
- collaborate with business teams, technical partners and other IT teams to propose solutions adapted to needs,
- contribute to the continuous improvement of applications and technological watch on SAP CX and OpenText solutions.
Your profile
- Higher education degree in computer science (HES, university, engineering school or equivalent),
- initial experience (internship, work-study or 0 to 2 years) in application development or integration,
- knowledge of integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, web services, JSON, XML) and principles of secure development and data protection,
- knowledge of the SAP environment (SAP CX, Emarsys) or strong motivation to develop these skills,
- knowledge of OpenText solutions (document management, archiving or integration with SAP) is an asset,
- interest in Cloud environments and integration architectures,
- ability to analyse technical incidents and propose solutions with the support of experienced colleagues,
- team spirit, curiosity, autonomy, analytical and organisational skills and willingness to learn,
- excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills,
- English level B2.
