Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for defined areas of the monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss accounting standards (OR)
- Preparation and reconciliation of accruals, provisions, intercompany transactions, and general ledger accounts
- Ensuring high data quality as well as compliance with internal policies and control frameworks
- Contact person for internal and external audits
- Support and coaching of team members in accounting matters as well as promoting a culture of quality, structure, and continuous learning within the team
- Maintaining close communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and contributing to process optimisation in collaboration with other departments (SCM, Sales, etc.)
- Analysis and improvement of end-to-end financial processes (Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report)
- Participation in ERP developments and digitalisation initiatives
- You critically question existing accounting processes and tools, bring optimisation ideas, and drive their implementation forward
Your profile
- Advanced professional training in finance and accounting (at least a federal diploma in finance and accounting or equivalent)
- 6–8 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international and/or industrial environment
- Sound knowledge of Swiss accounting standards (OR), direct & indirect tax topics
- Proficient use of SAP ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and high reliability
- Enjoyment in knowledge transfer and supporting colleagues
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
- Clear communication and cooperative attitude
- Fluent German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
