Finance & Controlling Operations Manager (f/m/d)

Your mission

You lead the entire Finance & Controlling function of Bechtle Suisse SA, while managing and supporting the transformation of financial operations within the Swiss entities.

The role combines responsibility for financial management, business partnership, controlling, accounting governance, process harmonisation, automation, PMO performance visibility, and operational excellence of the finance function.

Financial leadership :

• Manage budgeting, forecasting processes, as well as monthly and annual closings
• Provide the Managing Director and local management with management reports and relevant financial analyses for decision-making
• Support strategic decisions and contribute to improving the profitability of Bechtle Suisse SA, and, where applicable, other entities.

Financial operations and governance :

• Participate in the standardisation of financial processes between the different Swiss entities and lead when necessary
• Support and drive financial initiatives aimed at improving performance management, notably around standard costs, intercompany transactions, service profitability by technology domains, etc.
• Ensure data quality, compliance, and governance of Navision
• Oversee billing, WIP, accounts receivable, and cost accounting

Transformation and automation :

• Support automation initiatives related to Quote-to-Bill, Project Management, and Services Management processes
• Collaborate with IT to improve ERP integrations and reporting tools.
• Prepare data migration for the planned SAP R3 implementation in 2027-2028
• Contribute to improving the IT environment, particularly within Sales and Services organisations, by automating tasks to enhance quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency

Team management:

• Coach, support, and develop the local Finance & Controlling team
• Strengthen collaboration within the team by establishing cross-functional responsibilities
• Support managers in managing their financial performance

Stakeholder management:

• Be the primary contact for the Swiss Management Team, Group Finance, auditors, and business leaders.

• Accuracy and timeliness of closings and reporting
• Quality of budget and forecasts
• Reliability of billing and WIP tracking
• Customer collection performance
• Audit results and compliance level
• Efficiency of Finance processes and progress of automation initiatives
• Business stakeholder satisfaction

• More than 10 years of experience in leadership roles in finance, controlling, or financial operations
• Strong knowledge of finance and controlling in Switzerland
• ERP expertise, ideally with Navision / Microsoft Dynamics
• Proven experience in leading transformation and process optimisation projects
• Fluent French, very good German, and professional proficiency in English.
