IT Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the secure and stable operation of network and security infrastructures. You analyse security risks, implement appropriate protective measures, and ensure that networks are protected against unauthorised access. Furthermore, you continuously monitor the systems, detect anomalies early, and initiate targeted countermeasures. As a professional, you contribute your expertise to optimise existing security architectures and consistently further develop standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- You participate in network design, adjustments, and implementation
- In this role, you plan and conduct network tests such as penetration and vulnerability tests
- As a Network Security Administrator, you evaluate security logs and reports from firewalls and security software
- You fix security vulnerabilities and develop suitable solutions for clients
- In this role, you maintain servers, clients, and services and further develop IT security
- As a Network Security Administrator, you monitor IT security, fix errors, and write reports within a small team
Qualifications:
- You have completed an apprenticeship or have at least 3 years of professional experience in IT security
- You have a strong interest and perseverance in the field of IT security
- You communicate well orally and in writing in German
- You are comfortable conducting conversations in dialect or English
- You are ready for home office and flexible mobility
