Responsibilities:
- You accompany the system from inception to introduction (concept, setup and operation) throughout the entire software lifecycle
- You advise the customer on the definition of software requirements including problem and environment analysis
- You act purposefully and promote innovation and a feedback culture in the customer-integrated approach
- In your role as DevOps Engineer, you conduct systematic platform tests
- You develop, implement and maintain software applications, components, modules or interfaces to databases and other applications
- In your role as DevOps Engineer, you create data, function and object models
- You define functional and non-functional requirements and create concepts and effort estimates
Qualifications:
- You have a completed degree in computer science (university, university of applied sciences)
- You bring several years of professional experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
- You have experience in end-to-end automation according to the "Infrastructure as Code" principle
- You have sound knowledge in the areas of network, firewall (Fortinet) as well as the operating systems RHEL, RHCOS and Microsoft
- You have sound knowledge of VMware products (ESXi, VSphere especially vSwitch and Port-Group)
- You have experience in integration with development tools (GitLab, Nexus Repository)
- You have programming skills in Python, PowerShell, C#, Java as well as Bash shell (RedHat)
- Very good German skills are present, French and English skills (level B2) are an advantage
