You ensure the timely supply of the assigned materials.
You independently maintain supplier contacts and clarify open orders directly with the responsible contacts.
You compare price quotations based on relevant purchasing conditions and conduct negotiations.
In coordination with production and technical planning, you clarify material requirements.
You follow up on deviations in deliveries or quality defects until resolved.
Maintaining master data in the ERP system is part of your duties, as is checking order documents.
For project-related procurements, you obtain offers and coordinate the required materials.
You support the further development of procurement processes, supplier evaluations, and contractual agreements.
Qualifications:
Technical or commercial basic training; further training in procurement is a plus.
Initial or several years of experience in operational procurement, preferably in a manufacturing company.
Routine in handling digital inventory management systems and common MS Office applications.
Ability to economically assess offers and negotiate conditions objectively.
Understanding of technical products, material requirements, and operational processes.
Team-oriented personality with organised and careful working methods.
Initiative and interest in taking on advanced procurement tasks.
Confident German and good English skills for communication with suppliers.
