Our Opportunity
To strengthen our Human Resources department based in Neuchâtel, with regular presence at our manufactories, we are looking for a:
HR Business Partner
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner of the Watch Business Unit, you are the strategic HR partner for our watch manufactories and support the Manufacturing Directors and their teams on human and organisational issues.
A close contact for both managers and employees, you bridge the industrial priorities of our manufactories and the development of the teams.
Employee lifecycle
- Support employees at every stage of their journey, from onboarding to development, with genuine on-site proximity across the three production sites (Le Sentier, Saignelégier and Neuchâtel)
- Handle individual and collective situations fairly and ensure compliance with Swiss labour law and Group policies, while maintaining the quality of HR processes
Talent development and knowledge transfer
- Identify the skills needs of teams and apprentices, and collaborate with the Watch Academy Manager on continuous training and watchmaking apprenticeship pathways to ensure knowledge transfer
- In collaboration with the Senior HR Business Partner, facilitate talent and succession reviews for critical roles and contribute to the talent pipeline, partnering with the Talent Acquisition department on key recruitments
Management of HR processes
- Manage recurring HR processes within your scope (performance reviews, salary reviews, budget exercises), in partnership with the business
- Support the Senior HR Business Partner in workforce planning aligned with production capacities, and anticipate needs for critical and high-pressure roles, in partnership with Operations
- Utilise HR data (headcount, mobility, attrition, absenteeism) to produce analyses that inform decisions, anticipate needs and substantiate your recommendations
Advisory and business partnering
- Supporting the Senior HR Business Partner, advise site directors and production managers on their human and organisational challenges, anticipating the impacts of business transformations and translating industrial priorities into concrete HR solutions, in coordination with the Senior HR Business Partner
- Coach managers in their approach and HR decisions, fostering engagement and a healthy working atmosphere in a production environment
- Assist the Senior HR Business Partner in monitoring organisational changes and change management within your scope, in line with the Watch BU strategy
Your Background
Holder of a Master’s degree or a Federal Diploma in Human Resources, you have proven experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally gained within an industrial or production environment in an international group.
You demonstrate a strong business acumen and can translate operational challenges into high-value HR solutions, relying on workforce analysis and HR data to support decision-making.
A true partner, you know how to advise, challenge and influence your interlocutors, going beyond process application to propose pragmatic solutions tailored to organisational needs.
Driven by a genuine interest in people development, you place particular importance on knowledge transfer and sustainable skills development.
With excellent interpersonal skills, active listening and strong situational intelligence, you build trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
You master Swiss labour law as well as key HR processes, notably recruitment, performance management and remuneration.
You are fluent in French, have a good level of English and possess excellent writing skills.
Finally, you hold a driving licence and are mobile to make regular visits to our various production sites.
