Senior Construction Cost Planner (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Construction Cost Planner / Construction Economist for demanding building construction projects in the general/total contractor environment. You analyse projects in terms of costs, opportunities, and risks and are responsible for reliable cost determinations, calculations, and bid solutions from early project phases to contract award. You work with pre-measurements, cost indicators, and contractor offers and use digital tools such as DESITE, Bluebeam, and Messerli. With your experience in site management and construction cost planning, you develop economically optimised project variants and support bid and price negotiations.
Responsibilities:
Analysis of demanding building construction projects regarding construction costs, economic efficiency, opportunities, and project-specific risks
Preparation of cost estimates, cost calculations, and general/total contractor calculations based on pre-measurements, indicators, and contractor offers
Execution of digital quantity determinations and quantity extracts with DESITE and Bluebeam
Structuring and processing of construction costs with Messerli as well as maintenance of project-specific cost indicators
Development and evaluation of project variants, optimisation proposals, and customer-specific bid solutions from economic and technical perspectives
Technical leadership and coordination of architects, specialist planners, and other planning partners during the bid and calculation phase
Obtaining, reviewing, and comparing contractor and supplier offers as well as conducting price comparisons and analyses
Preparation of complete offer and bid dossiers including calculation bases, scope definitions, and relevant project documentation
Preparation and support of price, award, and contract negotiations with clients, planners, and executing companies
Implementation of cost optimisations and value engineering to develop technically and economically convincing project solutions
Ensuring transparent cost controlling and structured handover of calculation and contract bases to the execution organisation
Qualifications:
Completed technical training as site manager HFP, certified technician HF building planning building construction, architect FH, or civil engineer FH
Several years of experience in construction cost planning and calculation, complemented by practical experience in site management
Sound knowledge of the general/total contractor business as well as comprehensive technical and economic assessment of building construction projects
Very good knowledge in cost determination, pre-measurement, calculation, tendering, and contractor offers
User knowledge of DESITE, Bluebeam, and Messerli or comparable construction cost and calculation systems
Experience with cost optimisation, bid management, and price negotiations in larger building construction projects
Very good German language skills spoken and written
