Role:
As a Senior Business Controller at our ROCKEN partner, you are responsible for financial planning and create sound decision-making bases for executives and specialist departments. You analyse economic developments, make opportunities and risks transparent, and derive concrete recommendations for action. In this newly created role, you develop cost allocation models, control instruments, and the data landscape further and actively shape corporate management.
Responsibilities:
You advise executives and specialist departments as a business management sparring partner on financial and entrepreneurial issues.
You prepare reliable analyses and decision-making bases, assess business development based on relevant key figures, and formulate practical recommendations for action.
You are responsible for budgeting, forecasts, and medium-term planning and check the underlying assumptions for plausibility.
Through internal cost allocations and recharges, you ensure transparent, causation-based cost distribution and further develop the allocation models.
You continuously optimise management reporting, controlling instruments, and business management evaluations.
You further develop planning and controlling processes and actively shape the data landscape as well as the use of business intelligence.
In cross-departmental projects, you strengthen the quality, transparency, and traceability of financial information.
Qualifications:
A completed business degree or an equivalent higher professional qualification with a focus on finance and controlling forms your foundation, complemented by further training in controlling, financial management, or accounting.
You bring several years of experience in business controlling. Knowledge of public transport is an advantage.
You are proficient in reporting, planning, forecasting, and budgeting as well as in business analyses and key figure systems.
You combine analytical and networked thinking with an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
You translate complex contexts into clear recommendations and convince different stakeholders with consulting competence and audience-appropriate communication.
You use Excel and Abacus confidently. Experience with BI applications is an advantage.
You communicate fluently in German.
