In this key role, you take responsibility for the strategic planning and control of materials within the infrastructure. Together with your team, you continuously develop material supply throughout the end-to-end process and lay the foundations for sustainable, economical, and future-oriented materials management. You operate in a varied environment offering a wide scope for manoeuvre and collaborate closely with internal and external partners.
What you can influence.
- Leading a team composed of four materials managers and a project manager, you strengthen interdepartmental collaboration.
- You take responsibility for strategic materials planning and develop supply strategies and concepts to ensure long-term availability.
- By optimising rolling forecasts of materials, you make future needs transparent.
- At the service level, you lead development, transformation, and optimisation initiatives and advance the continuous improvement of materials management.
- By evolving standards, methods, and control instruments, you represent materials management in strategic bodies.
- In close collaboration with specialised areas, projects, and external partners, you promote sustainable material supply.
What you bring.
- With several years of proven managerial experience, you possess solid knowledge in materials management, supply chain management, or logistics.
- Your strategic thinking and entrepreneurial spirit distinguish you, and you work in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
- Experienced in leading change, transformation, or optimisation projects, you navigate complex environments with ease.
- You are proficient in SAP MM, especially in requirements planning and procurement management, and ideally have knowledge of SAP IBP in demand and supply planning.
- You hold a higher education degree from a university of applied sciences or university, or an equivalent qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business management, or management engineering.
- You have excellent knowledge of German, and knowledge of other national languages is an asset.
