Tasks

• You instruct, advise and coach staff on site in complex nursing issues and situations and promote a holistic nursing approach through interdisciplinary collaboration and a multidimensional perspective
• You support and empower nurses in their professional development and ensure the practical transfer of expertise
• You are responsible for the further development of evidence-based nursing
• You initiate, advise, review and support measures for quality assurance and development
• You lead specialist groups and ensure compliance with required standards

Profile

• Empathetic personality with commitment and team spirit
• Willingness to develop further and shape change processes
• In-depth knowledge and many years of experience in geriatrics
• Completed Master’s degree in Nursing (MSc in Nursing). For qualifications obtained abroad, recognition by the Swiss Red Cross (SRK) is required
• Very good communication skills in German, both spoken and written

The annual salary for this position ranges from CHF 113,388 to CHF 151,510 (100%) depending on experience.

The Health Centres for the Elderly of the City of Zurich are one of the largest geriatric institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the field of elderly care – with expertise, heart and a comprehensive range of services from a single source.

The Witikon and Riesbach Health Centres are jointly managed and located in the heart of Zurich-Witikon and Zurich-Riesbach in districts 7 and 8. The Witikon Health Centre for the Elderly combines various nursing and care services under one roof. The Riesbach Health Centre for the Elderly is entirely focused on the treatment, care and nursing of people with dementia. The secure facility offers peace, comfort and safety. Both health centres are characterised by many years of experience in geriatric medicine. Here you will work together with 400 colleagues.
