To complement our team at the DZ Police Barracks centre, we are looking for a nurse at 100% to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for and ensuring the basic medical care of clients in the centre, taking into account existing legal and other requirements (authorities, specialists and ORS)
- Leading and organising an effective triage according to urgency and severity, as well as subsequent coordination with medical organisations (emergency, rescue organisations, doctors, dentists)
- Providing medical first aid in emergencies, nursing measures and medically prescribed measures
- Managing the in-house pharmacy under the guidance of a responsible pharmacist and emergency kit
- Organising, advising, and partially personally conducting regular training for non-medical caregivers/centre management in the area of basic medical care/emergency procedures and prevention
- Identifying, informing, initiating and enforcing measures/structures regarding communicable diseases and general hygiene
- Holding consultations in the centre and/or in other accommodation units
- Maintaining and managing medical records
Your Profile
- Tertiary education: Advanced professional examination or equivalent (Federal Diploma / Postgraduate HF)
- 0 to 1 year relevant professional experience
- Basic and user knowledge of MS Office applications
- Impeccable reputation (no entries in debt enforcement and criminal records)
- German | spoken: C1 | written: C1
- French | spoken: B2 | written: B2
- English | spoken: B2 | written: B2
