What awaits you.
As a customer assistant in charge of frequency survey, you are in direct contact with travellers and seek to identify their travel habits. A varied and paid part-time training (50%) of four months awaits you, during which you will receive both theoretical and practical instruction. Our training sites are located in Olten and Zurich Altstetten. After successfully passing the exam concluding your training, you will work in teams and part-time (50%) and perform your role as customer assistant in charge of frequency survey throughout Switzerland, starting and ending your shifts each time at the same training site. The Customer Assistance pathway offers interesting development opportunities such as training as a customer assistant in charge of ticket inspection, lasting four months, or training as a customer assistant, lasting eight months. As a customer assistant in charge of frequency survey, you contribute to our central goal: to inspire our customers. You consider irregular hours and team work an advantage to enjoy your free time while others work. With us, working nights and weekends entitles you to additional pay, for example CHF 16.- per hour for Sunday work. Time bonuses of 10 to 30% are granted for night work, giving you more free time. What you can move.
- As a customer assistant in charge of frequency survey, you are in direct contact with customers whom you accompany throughout their journey. You question passengers about their itinerary and tickets in order to analyse their travel behaviour.
- You enter the collected data on an electronic device.
- You inform customers about their journey, ensure their comfort and manage passenger flows.
- In a very varied professional daily routine, you move Switzerland with different colleagues every day.
- Thanks to an extremely precise duty roster, you finish your work on time, without having to perform other tasks or handle emails.
What you bring.
- You have a sense of communication, are open-minded and stand out through your considerate attitude towards people and strong customer orientation. Thanks to your excellent communication skills and great conflict management ability, you contribute decisively to a positive customer experience.
- To successfully carry out tasks that are sometimes physically demanding, we rely on collaboration and team spirit.
- You have an affinity for numbers, quickly assimilate information and stand out through a strong sense of responsibility. You work efficiently and precisely, master digital work tools and are willing to work in a team.
- You have successfully completed a professional apprenticeship (at least two years) or hold a school-leaving certificate. Your motivation is more important to us than the field you come from.
- You have very good knowledge of French (level C1) and are already able to express yourself in German. You are also willing to obtain at least one language certificate (level A2) within two years: in German, English or Italian.
- During the application process, we will ask you for a current extract from the criminal record as well as from the debt enforcement and bankruptcy register (dated less than three months). This document can be ordered at the time of the invitation to a personal interview.
