Integration of the practical placement for the SRK Nursing Assistant course possible
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex.We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial experience in nursing during a fixed-term placement of 3 to 12 months by arrangement at the Adlergarten Retirement Home.
Nursing Internship (50-100%), fixed-term for 3 to 12 months, Adlergarten Retirement Home
Your Tasks
- Active assistance in nursing according to competency description
- Active assistance with domestic tasks
- Accompanying and caring for residents in simple situations
- Assisting with residents’ leisure activities
- Day and late shifts (including weekend shifts)
Your Profile
- Insight into healthcare activities and gaining practical experience
- For graduates of the SRK Nursing Assistant course
- Helpful personality with joy and interest in working with elderly people
- Team player, reliable and responsible
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect as well as good oral and written German skills (mandatory level B2)
