The University Psychiatric Centre of Bern (UPZ) offers comprehensive psychiatric care, from early detection to rehabilitation, including outpatient treatments, day hospital and inpatient care, throughout the entire life course. As a university hospital, UPZ makes a vital contribution to specialised care as well as to training, teaching and research. The university clinic of child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy positions itself as an innovative and dynamic entity within this structure, dedicated to the care of children and adolescents suffering from mental disorders from 0 to 18 years old. Would you like to be part of a motivated and ambitious team within the university clinic of child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy in Biel? We work closely with educational and psychological leaders within teams representing three disciplines. You will have the opportunity to explore different specialisation areas and develop your skills in these fields. We will be pleased to support you in your new area of activity as a manager and offer you close clinical supervision. Our (psycho)therapeutic priorities are very diverse, including specialisations in dialectical behaviour therapy, systemic therapy (multifamily therapy), psychodynamic therapy and home-based therapy. Are you already a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy or in psychiatry and psychotherapy? We are looking for reinforcement for our team at the bilingual Biel site.

- Do you speak German well (level C1) and wish to improve your language skills?
Your tasks
- You are responsible for diagnosis and treatment in child and adolescent psychiatry in close interdisciplinary collaboration with our team in the Biel region
- You may be responsible for the outpatient service, the outpatient crisis intervention or both day clinics
- You participate in the specialised on-call service (medical on-call duty)
- You assume leadership and continuing education tasks in the clinical units assigned to you
- Support and guidance tailored to your needs in your professional, personal and managerial development
- Participation in the development of clinical concepts in close collaboration with a committed multidisciplinary team
Your profile
- You hold a specialist title in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry
- You speak German (level C1) and master French. Knowledge of French (level B2) is desirable
- You wish to improve your language proficiency
- You want to apply diagnostic and treatment concepts in line with current evidence-based guidelines and contribute to the development of therapeutic offerings
- You want to take on the challenge of supervising people competently both professionally and personally
- You are able to assess a wide variety of situations professionally and respond flexibly and competently
- You have good communication skills, are calm, cooperative and authoritative
