With our more than 500 employees, the Regional Medical-Social Centre of Sierre (Intermunicipal Association) has the mission to offer various services to the entire population of the 11 member municipalities. Our main services cover diverse areas, notably home help and care, social action, employment, prevention, and childcare.
As part of the development of our services, we are looking for a
Psychogeriatric Nurse at 50% and/or IPC (Infection Prevention and Control) Officer at 30%
Depending on the candidates’ profiles, we are open to:
- recruiting two people, each occupying one of the roles
- or hiring a single person at 80%, combining the skills of both areas

Your profile for the psychogeriatric nurse role
- You hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent qualification, complemented by the CAS in psychogeriatrics
- You have recognised experience in the field
- You demonstrate autonomy and flexibility
- You enjoy human contact and are client-oriented
- You have access to a private vehicle
Your mission
- You play a resource and reference role in psychogeriatrics, supporting, coaching, and accompanying teams in the care of cognitive disorders, behavioural issues, and complex situations
- You actively participate in the clinical analysis of situations and the adaptation of individualised support projects, in close collaboration with clinical nurses, sector managers, and internal/external partners
- You contribute to the development of concepts, a common culture of care in psychogeriatrics, and the transmission of knowledge (internal training, support for new employees, students, and apprentices)
Your profile for the IPC officer role
- You hold IPC officer training – FRHPCI or are willing to train
- You possess good knowledge of the field
- You can work both in a team and independently
- You can adapt to multidisciplinary teams and have natural leadership
- You hold a category B driving licence
Your mission
- You identify non-conformities in theoretical and practical basic processes and propose corrective measures, participating in their implementation
- You intervene in cases of care-related infections and ensure the implementation of prevention measures for staff, clients, and the environment
- You participate in prevention campaigns and the dissemination of IPC information within the CMS
