The current postholder will become CEO of KPT as of June 2027. As part of his succession, you will take responsibility for the Benefits + Products division with around 250 employees. What you can achieve
- With six directly reporting managers, you lead and develop around 250 employees in the areas of claims processing and management, product development, underwriting, claims purchasing & managed care, international business, and special functions.
- You consistently further develop the benefits and product strategy and ensure measurable impact in its implementation.
- You shape the benefits area efficiently and economically with a focus on outstanding customer experiences, digitalisation, automation, and the responsible use of AI – central to this is data-driven management of benefit costs and processes.
- You are responsible for a competitive, modern, and profitable product and service portfolio.
- You proactively develop collaboration with key service providers, partners, as well as external stakeholders and committees in the interests of the health insurer with the Plus.
- As a member of the Executive Board, you think and act beyond your own area, challenge the status quo boldly, and represent your topics convincingly to the Executive Board, Board of Directors, and external stakeholders.
What sets you apart
- a university or university of applied sciences degree, supplemented by relevant further training
- several years of leadership experience in the health insurance industry (executive or GL-1 level)
- profound knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system with a proven track record in benefits management
- a good understanding of regulatory and health policy requirements and contexts
- experience with digitalisation, process automation, as well as data- and key figure-based management – practical experience with effective AI applications and concrete use cases
- a grounded, engaging, and convincing leadership personality with the ability to provide direction, engage people, and drive demanding changes forward
- strategic and analytical-conceptual strength combined with implementation orientation, decisiveness, and a willingness to shape
- confident German and good French skills; Italian is a plus
