Senior Consultant Cardiologist

The Cardiology/Vascular Medicine department combines the University Clinics of Cardiology, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery, and Angiology. As nationwide leading centres in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and circulatory diseases, the range of services includes the entire spectrum of interventional and surgical treatments. The clinics enjoy national and international recognition in research and science.

What to expect

• You will independently or jointly care for outpatient and inpatient patients. In doing so, you will work closely with all special disciplines of cardiology and the other clinics of the Inselspital
• In addition to general cardiology tasks, you will perform examinations such as echocardiography, device checks, etc., or acquire the specialist skills for these
• Rotations in heart failure, rhythmology, and emergency care are desirable

What you bring

• You are a motivated, committed, and team-oriented individual with at least two years of cardiological and two years of internal medicine professional experience
• You hold the specialist title in cardiology or are close to completion
• You have very good German language skills
