Software Packaging Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
Between requirements and the finished software package lies a lot of coordination and technology. You cover both. You gather requirements, prioritise them, and keep an eye on deadlines and efforts. You lead suppliers professionally and ensure the quality of their deliveries. In implementation, you package applications and automate with PowerShell. In case of operational disruptions, you support extended support.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for planning, prioritisation, coordination, and controlling in application engineering
You lead external suppliers professionally and manage their services
You gather requirements for provisioning, further development, and lifecycle management of applications
You work closely with application managers
You package software for modern client environments and automate provisioning
Additionally, you handle incidents, problems, and changes, provide on-call service, and participate in digital workplace projects
Qualifications:
You have an IT education or several years of relevant experience
You have already packaged and deployed applications
You are familiar with virtualisation and deployment technologies for applications
You have solid knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office applications
You program confidently with PowerShell and know common packaging frameworks
You work precisely, independently, and service-oriented and communicate very well in German
